No More

Enough is enough! I realized that last nite, I'm not a fan of being asked to choose. You've asked me to choose since Day One! No - I refuse to make that choice. Hands down, I will not choose you ... especially after sending alts to my land and wasting my friends' time as they stand next to me during your melodramatic breakdown.
I've said my part ... you've said yours - your actions that started this fire fight will be the only memory I need. Also, thanks for the multiple blog hits! *smiles*

Entertain Me

I'm BORED! SL has become utterly boring for me ... its beyond dull.

Tiny Empires is chuckful o' lacklustery goodness - surely not like it use to be ... what is the deal with the new Trader schedule and now 40+ independent Kingdoms?! Geez, I even pulled out this old pic that I did when I first joined Sparta (funny that I didn't have a title then and still not now ... hmm oh well guess that's what happens when I left and returned back to Sparta).
Decorating the house is, well, completed.
Landscaping its still just as painful ... I keep moving the same palm tree.
Fishing ... gawd how many times can one click "cast" ... or F2. (I still sorta-not-really do tho ... glutton for punishment I guess.)

meh.

Shopping can be fun ... but only as "Chunk", my alter ego who is known to wonder the grid eating popcorn and wearing head-to-toe pink (basically its a bootie-shorts jumpsuit, pink sneakers and pigtails) ... oh and *only* with certain people... in the end no *real* shopping occurs, just the occasional popcorn throwing. (Potentially a pic of her shopping this weekend ... *if* you're lucky! hehe)

Maybe its time for a change... again. Status quo blows and is unacceptable.

My So-Called Alt Life

Its no secret, I have an alt (or two) but who doesn't now-a-days?! Both characters have been in game for about a year, and are in my land group and known within my group of friends. I hide nothing. Any visitor to any of my homes (the beach house or main estate), can easily see these alts. (Yes one is a guy ... and is a "ken doll").
I use the female alt as my "spare closet" and the guy is just for giggles. Kinda interesting to shop the grid looking for men's clothing as there aren't nearly enough designers for guys!
Others, unlike me, create alts to "hide" from their SLife's melodramas. I can't blame those people, as long as they aren't creating havoc in that av's wake. The identities created to due harm to others is inexcusable. Alt creation should be for a fun escape not to spy, spread slander or finger point under an assumed alias 'cause you want your main character's reputation to remain pristine.
If you can't make a statement as your original AV, then please don't share your view point. There is no need to cause more drama ... its like directing a movie where none of the actors have the script or a puppet master without strings.
*side note: Regardless of what alias is used, if it causes unnecessary drama, get all the facts and surely be ready for the backlash*

When's Spring Again?!

Since yesterday the snow started falling ... it looked so tranquil. Not until I left my house this morning did I start cursing this crazy sleety/snowy/rainy mix. Luckily, I am in a state where the snow isn't too bad but we are sharing in the delight of heavy rains and ice. It's a true joy to play bumper cars on the interstate.

Nothing is going well today. My commute to work (the whopping 7 mile drive) I managed to skid into someone's yard almost taking out the mailbox. Slid around my company's parking lot, I coasted into a spot on the end, I reached for my "spare" umbrella only to come up empty handed - so much for hair and makeup today!

At least my office is warm ... sorta. Rant over ~ you may now return to your slives.

Tiny Empires

If I haven't said it before ... I love being in Sparta! Since leaving my last Liege, I took a hit in acres and survived a sabotage or three ... and with the help of a very generous King, my family is rebuilding and settling in just fine. Sparta is quite simply an amazing bunch of crazy, lovable, and unforgettable people. Never has a family in Tiny Empires, in my opinion, been so fun! To boot the group chats are down right hysterical and sometimes silly - oh yeah they actually help each other too.
As of late, the topic of my conversations is Tiny Empires. So it seems I have now come out of "retirement". My own family (new and old) have been just as supportive with the move and are loving Sparta!
Kinda funny I am being labeled a "traitor" from my past family, so I hear. When honestly, not one representative has approached me to ask "hey Luna, whydcha leave?". Instead, "friends" drop off my friends list. So here's the reasoning: its nice to feel apart of a line where my family matters. I said it, I know there will be backlash... but hey, its the truth, from my perspective.

Eh ~ all is fair in love and tiny empires!!

Building, Building, Burn Out

After searching a good portion of my day for this yummy beachfront property, I was exhausted. Really that was only the beginning! I spent the entire day building, rearranging, and occasionally shopping (amazingly not for clothes!) ... mainly for furniture and turtles. Yes I have turtles... my place needed a little something cute. Pheobe even named them - Rocco & Roxanne. Now if I can just get a beach garden created *cough* Dax! *cough* I think my place will be set. Oh yeah I need to finish the inside ... like I need a bed ... maybe that's why I didn't sleep yet?!
It was rare that I left the sim except to find furniture. My neighbor stopped to say hello and introduce herself (she's pretty nice). Even a newbie fell from the sky ... why do newbies fall from the sky on my properties?! He seemed pretty cool ... I took him shopping and gave a few pointers. Other than the occasional IM, checking on my Tiny Empires HUD, or a few friends coming over - it was quiet ... it feels so good to be back on the beach ... where I belong.

Stir Crazy ... or just plain crazy ...

I went into work today for a short time thinking I could get work done. Well not the case, my phone is non-stop, my task bar is set ablaze from the blinking unread IMs, and I am here blogging. My ADD is kicking in over-drive ... I need out! I was seriously crazy thinking that today would be a good day to go into work for some peace and quiet while I finished a project.
The parking lot was empty (great parking spot close to the front door!) ... but my two office chairs have seen more people sit in them than they did all year!! Granted I really do love my co-erkers, and I haven't been out of my office to gab ... so I guess they are starting to come to me.
I know by now you are thinking "go farking home, crazy chick!" Totally wishing I could but this project has been on my plate now for days and I have been home goofin' off in SL at home. So what do I do ... head into work so I leave the temptation of loggin' in SL. Instead I am blogging and getting caught up on the latest office gossip!! gah!

Bug Off!

Some days make me wanna throw my hands up and scream at the world "BUG OFF!" ... Lindens surely not loading, stale transactions, cache takes effe-long time to clear, another DL for windlight, and not to mention my friends list not loading. If I TP one more time only to find all my prims up my arse, I am so just leaving them there.

I pull out my doctor's office I found myself singing as I motored down the street in my brandie-new car. Fun 80s tunes blaring, loving the surround sound system and watching the snow fall as I wait for the traffic light to turn green. Oh! Green! Go! I step on the gas ... step on the gas again ... hmmm ... looks at my dashboard... "Service Engine Soon"

An hour later, I found myself standing in the snow waving buh-bye to my car as it cruises down the street on a flat-bed tow truck on its way to the Dealer for repair.

I have had limited time in SL lately ... so blogging is at a premium. I took some kewl pics of KSU, my shopping spree stuffies and just plain ol' randomness. After o-so-many attempts of uploading the dam pics into Blogger, I can't seem to add effers! I tried as links, pics, and HTML code (shhh don't let it out I know coding). For fucks sake - upload the pics already!!?!?? *walks away from the 'puter before any innocent peripherals get hurt*

Today marks the first real day of being Stevesless. Since I was off traveling in RL for a portion of the weekend, I came back to questions about our rental properties. After the IMs, it was time to shop and really just explore... really nothing too exciting. So what to do until Tuesday when my Steves comes home...
