Thankfully

The past week has been filled with ups and downs ... this past weekend was exactly what I needed after such a weird week. Granted, it was a strange weekend... I found myself doing things that I wouldn't have thought to do before in SL. *grunts* Seriously, never have I laughed so hard! I really have come to realize that when I need people the most, they are there. Some quieter than others, and others now distant ... but always still there. It feels good to be surrounded by good people who take care of me.

Thanks everyone for "rescuing" me ... and just being you. *huggles*

No More

You don't deserve my time, attention or energy.

Enough is enough! I realized that last nite, I'm not a fan of being asked to choose. You've asked me to choose since Day One! No - I refuse to make that choice. Hands down, I will not choose you ... especially after sending alts to my land and wasting my friends' time as they stand next to me during your melodramatic breakdown.
I've said my part ... you've said yours - your actions that started this fire fight will be the only memory I need. Also, thanks for the multiple blog hits! *smiles*

Entertain Me

I'm BORED! SL has become utterly boring for me ... its beyond dull.

Tiny Empires is chuckful o' lacklustery goodness - surely not like it use to be ... what is the deal with the new Trader schedule and now 40+ independent Kingdoms?! Geez, I even pulled out this old pic that I did when I first joined Sparta (funny that I didn't have a title then and still not now ... hmm oh well guess that's what happens when I left and returned back to Sparta).
Decorating the house is, well, completed.
Landscaping its still just as painful ... I keep moving the same palm tree.
Fishing ... gawd how many times can one click "cast" ... or F2. (I still sorta-not-really do tho ... glutton for punishment I guess.)

meh.

Shopping can be fun ... but only as "Chunk", my alter ego who is known to wonder the grid eating popcorn and wearing head-to-toe pink (basically its a bootie-shorts jumpsuit, pink sneakers and pigtails) ... oh and *only* with certain people... in the end no *real* shopping occurs, just the occasional popcorn throwing. (Potentially a pic of her shopping this weekend ... *if* you're lucky! hehe)

Maybe its time for a change... again. Status quo blows and is unacceptable.

20-20

Last nite, I found out some rather core-shaking news about a very dear friend of mine. Thankfully they are ok now but I realized I wasn't there when this friend needed me the most. Maybe that's why it effected me so much.
I realize I'm stubborn and, potentially, selfish. As dense as I can be at times, it didn't take much to make me crumble when I heard the news about my friend.
I really did deserve the repeated kicks for my awful decision. I only hope enough time will pass that the wounds will heal for all of us. Miss you much guys!

Someone promised ...

Yay Me!

SL won't let me back in ... so I resorted to Twitter, Yahoo and Skype ... and amazingly all at the same time while keeping up with offlines in email.
Yeah it sucks not being in-world with everyone else ... I was able to catch up on emails, behind-the-scenes blogging, and beating a friend at literacy!

Kinda made my night ... its nice to see my stuff getting recognized. *grin* Not only do I love this outfit but its great marketing for my Flickr account and me and Pheobe's baby, SLFashionality.

Me Update

I took a small break in blogging ... yeah ... like 2 weeks. I just couldn't stay away but really that writing wasn't me. It somehow lost its spunk ... eh. At any rate ... I'm back and ready to ramble!
Lots happened since I last wrote an update - so best place to start is at the beginning ... or where-ever that would be ... right?
I moved sims. Yes I'm still on the beach and with stunning sunsets but not the corner. Lately I have been moving often. I had some serious issues with knuckle headed neighbors at my last place. Why do people not understand security orbs? I mean really ... why keep flying over only to be TPed back to your home location? But really I would love to share the wonderfully colorful vocab they shared with me ... but wow I even blushed over some of it!! (ok not really but did I at least make you think I'm sweet and innocent?!) :P
New land means a new house ... no more huge white mansion. Now its a sweet home from The Loft. My new addiction - The Loft's furniture. I think I own about 80% of that store! Over the course of my posts you will see snaps of the house as I plan to use it as a backdrop.
Speaking of snaps, I haven't been truly *that* busy with Flickr. I have a few builds planned for some super sensual shots and story lines. Currently writing the one story line. Hopefully the upcoming series of pics will compliment ... and more series to follow.
Lately, I've been so utterly thankful to have two wonderfully fantastic friends by my side for so much of the muck in my slife. They are always with me (which I adore them for) ... not a day goes by with out these two! A huge thanks to Oscar and Pheobe for always being so awesome!!

Oh Lookit A Post!

yeah yeah yeah ... I haven't blog lately. I promise all is well ... I'm just being a lazy bum goofin' off. Well that isn't really true tho ... I finally started landscaping and actually tried building.
Landscaping is easy - buy, rezz and adjust (aka Luna-proofed).

Building is another story...

After nearly 16 months of SL, I've never built a thing. After minimal sleep and some guidance, the 100-prim fountain was created! Yuppers its 100-prims but the textures rawk *hugs you!*. All-n-all, it was a relatively positive experience and the best part, no nails were broken.
Big Hugs and Thanks to all who helped me. Funny, most of them came over wearing tool belts, what's that all about ... are my schemes that bad that we now wear tool belts to help me?!

Omg this was the day I met Pheebs at KSU ... then it went downhill from there. That day was a Two-Drink Minimum kinda day. *giggle-hiccup-giggle*

Nip n' Tuck

I did it ... after a few months of just minor tweaks here n' there, I finally overhauled my shape. Of course, I asked a few friends for their honest opinion. After a couple of their thoughts, I had decided it was just time for a complete change ... and hopefully for the better. Yes, I still look the same but with a slightly larger frame and less angular jaw, my shape does look different. Change is good!

Typical Saturday ... sorta

My day started just like any other typical Saturday ... some shopping, a post over at Fashionality, and hanging at my sparsely decorated house. Somehow I met up with Pheobe and Oscar ... and the afternoon involved naked living room dancing. Still not really sure how all that really happened but it was just the beginning. Not until Noel stopped by, did the nite take a turn and well the above pic of Pheobe happened. Its all a blur ... and take no responsibility. Raise your hand if you believe that statement ... .... ... yeah I don't blame ya ... eh maybe none of this happened ...

Just Because

Noelyci Ingmann has seen it all from me ... helping me scheme and surviving all those crazy ideas and just recently fixing my McMansion. He is my longest known friend ... I can't thank him enough for being around all this time for me. You're the bestest ever, Noely <3

Pheobe Petrov is my nutty sidekick ... or am I hers? She had this super cute idea for a post on Fashionality for Valentine's Day. The above pic was the result ... I took it admittedly blurred-eyed as it was late for me last nite. Not until I posted the snap in my Flickr, did she leave a comment "Ok, we look like we are twins joined at the head.haha". After a good laugh, she's right!!

"Pixel Humping for Dummies" & a Ceiling Fan

Yesterday I found a "Dummies" book at The Loft along with some great furniture for my beach house. I invited DeCount over to see the new place. But I had to go AFK for about 5 minutes ... I come back to Decount riding on my ceiling fan's blade and his chat history about this Pixel Humping for Dummies book I have on my coffee table:

DeCount opens the book and takes a peek "ohhhhhh mercy! WOW... page 11"
DeCount makes a note off page 11 and whispers "Page 11.. eye opener!"
"What... im just saying... never thought it possible to do that using 3 prims... some doughnuts and a spanner. Lucky u haven't seen page 12... shocking! 2 nuns, 3 bars of soap and an anti gravity field"
DeCount laughs and reads a little more "Take a small bag of onions.. mix in 3 noobs with no clothes, place on a 1 prim poseball and simmer for an hour.. mix in some bad english and you have noob sex"
DeCount shakes his head " Crazy" tilting the book sideways
DeCount: OMG Is that legal?
DeCount flips the page over and gets a popup page " Oh sweet mercy... "
DeCount tries to open the middle page... but on seeing a glimpse of a neko... changes his mind
DeCount flicks though "Page 23, caring for your poseballs and how to clean them. ... sometimes your poseballs can get...."
DeCount: Oh gross
DeCount puts the book down and stares at you, watches you sway in the wind & pulls faces and smiles picking up a paper clip and aims it at your backside just missing you.... as i chuckle
DeCount fires another, "DIRECT HIT..."
DeCount sits back and acts innocent and opens page 32 on the book... almost throws up a little in his mouth and puts the book back down for good
DeCount riffles through your drawers
"JEEZ Luna..... I'm shocked"
DeCount goes for a spin (on the ceiling fan!)
DeCount feels giddy

Why Not?!

My day was busy busy!! Sat around with a few Tiny Empires family members doing some shuffling around of subjects and I was finally able to spend some quality time with a very good friend of mine. But really all day I have wanted to get over to a Wild West sim ... no clue why ... just wanted to go - why not right?! Now I went I can cross that off my "Places to Visit" list.

Flattered!

By now I am sure its evident I am a Flickr freak. I am apart of a couple of Flickr groups. Either this group, Second Life - Look Of The Day, found me or I stumbled upon it at some point.
I nearly fell over when I read my mail titled "Congrats Luna". Here I thought it was for some "enlargement" drug or to help lower my mortgage rate. (I don't need help in either department kkthx!) Really it was Jhuzen Ketsugo, the group admin, writing to tell me I won the weekly contest! She's one of the fashion gurus I follow taking her ideas and making them my own. The bolero was something I saw on Felice Haruka* but what really sold me was when Phebs wore it to KSU! The rest of the outfit I just randomly pieced together at some ungawdly hour of the morning (I even asked for help from my friend Catero to find bangles?!).
Ohhh I know this is a long post ... tough... I am excited! :P

Sandbox Diaries

Pheobe and I were up to no good *again* on the grid again. We ended back at the Public Sandbox in voice. I showed up first to look for a good locale for our "coffee & conversation" only to find out they already had a lounge area - go figure! Said lounge area, not-so fem or pink as Phebs and I would like ... but meh ... it works (for now! maawwwahh). After a short while, we realized people were appearing just to hear us talk and it was the same faces as yesterday with new friends gathering. Several hours later, my little brain was scheming ... same faces, good conversation, we haven't been yelled at *yet* to keep it PG ... so why not - "lets create a group for our 'fan' base". Yes I realize these "fans" are more like eavesdroppers with the occasional chatter but hey we gotta start somewhere!

Coffee & Conversation

Phebs and I headed over to a sandbox to rezz out some of my houses. We started talking in the open... decided to rez a coffee table and a few chairs ... soon enough we gathered a crowd. We talked to everyone that either walked by, sat in the empty third seat or those who pulled out their own seats. Topics of conversations were just as unique and unusual as the people that walked near us. Eventually, we were warned about the PG rating. Honestly that didn't stop the laughter or people rezzing their own chairs! Someone rezzed out Danger signs, construction zone thingys and made it snow... amoung other interesting objects! Someone broadcasted the gathering too ... and we had an unofficial geeter to say "hello" to new eavesdroppers and innocent bystanders to our circle. The guys that actually work at the sandbox were pretty cool (hey Davey & 'quid!)
I never really thought that that many people would be that interested in two chicks and their chatter!! We had a blast!!
Coffee and Conversation could be coming to a sandbox near you!!
